In our efforts to study the impact of our transmission line, we commissioned an economic impact study from The Perryman Group. The Perryman Group is a widely respected economic and financial analysis firm headquartered in Waco, Texas. The firm's leader, Ray Perryman, was nominated for a Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his work on economic forecasting. The Perryman Group measured the potential economic impact of the Plains & Eastern Clean Line on business activity in the United States, states along the future route (Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee), and where new wind capacity would be added (Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas).
